10-segrity
The term tensegrity was coined by Buckminster Fuller in the 1960s as a portmanteau of 'tensional integrity'. The other name for tensegrity, Floating Compression, was mainly used by the constructivist artist Kenneth Snelson.

Tensegrity is a structure based on the laws of physics and the interconnection of solid poles and thin steel ropes. The sophisticated positioning of all parts creates the possibility of illusory levitation of heavy and solid parts, which are only held together by subtle and almost invisible steel cables. By studying basic tensegrity structures, I found a way to connect them and expand them into my own original tensegrity structure, which I and my teammates were able to incorporate into a large scale object that was exhibited at HALA - Symposium of Contemporary Art in Trencin.

GMAB in cube
The exhibition - Gmab in cube - was dedicated to the history of the last 50 years of the Milos Alexander Bazovsky Gallery in Trencin. Our intention was to create a new, creative space and find a different approach to exhibiting art. As the budget was very low, we decided to buy timber and my task was to design an abstract interior wall with a playful way of presenting the works. The result was a compact wooden structure filled with sculptures, prints and interactive games. GMAB in cube was a team effort involving many people, and our efforts were rewarded with very positive feedback from visitors.

In the second room, my team mate and I created an installation using postcards. We decided to create an optical illusion where, from a certain point of view, you could see the gallery's logo.

Performance box
In collaboration with Transart Communication and HALA, I was asked to design the Performance Box - two cubic steel constructions (easily dismantled) closed on all sides with plexiglass. These steel-glass cubes created a very specific interior space with a subtle boundary to the outside world. The box provided a creative space for 8 professional performance artists from Asia (Shu Yang, Liping Ting,...) who performed their art throughout the duration of the Pohoda music festival. Thanks to the very positive reaction of the festival director, the performance box was part of the festival for the following years.
Laser box
In continuity with the previous work - Performance Box - I was allowed to develop the original idea and find new possibilities hidden within the boundaries of a steel cubic construction. Fascinated by green laser light, I decided to buy three hand lasers and place them inside the box along with 32 small mirrors to create a very symmetrical and geometric light installation. This object worked with the public because all the on/off buttons for the lasers and the steam machine were placed outside the box, so the people decided the final look of the object.
The object was exhibited at HALA - Symposium of Contemporary Art in Trencin.
